A story I came up with during my free time at work
hope you liked. Also I'dd like to think this adventure happens in the same world where all these creepy pasta pokemon exist
(Also do note that the grammar is probably atrocious I made this for fun and english is not my native language so I didn't bother to double check)
Once upon a time in the world of pokemon lived a young boy named Karma Max. He and his mother lived in the small village of Azalea Town in the Johto region. His father was a an old war veteran from the last great pokemon war, that took place 20 years ago. The war made him very distant and as a result his father never was around his son during most of his life. The last time Karma ever remembered his father was during that one night when he was asleep, he never knew if it was a dream or not, he simply saw his father sitting on the corner of his bed smiling.
The war had destroyed so many lives, pokemon and human alike. Both had suffer during those years... Not many survived and those that did became too old or scar for life by these horrible events. Some humans decided to enslave Pokemon's to bring a new order to the world others decided to live in peace separated to the rest of pokemon's, living a world without them. The pokemon's however got the short end of the stick. The war made them hate human kind and those who had participated in the war became hard and cold if not completely insane. The rumors of a kidnapping Hypno taking away children's was not uncommon in these troubled times. The death of so many had shaped this world into a place of desolation where the few left were mere child too young to fully grasp the disaster that took place before them and now training their beasts to become the new ruler of this world.
But what I am about to tell you is not a story of slavery or pain. This is the story of Karma Max the Famed Pokemon Bounty Hunter, bringer of Justice, savior of pokemon's and Keeper of sanity.
Mom- K? are you up sweetie?
The hard cold floor brought Karma senses to full attention. Reality sink in when Karma finally understood that he had a dream and was sleepwalking again.
Cyndaquil woke up next to K in his tiny fluffy pillow bed. with a big yawn he jump out of bed to greet his master.
K - Cyndaquil no!!! *hugging cause Cyndaquil to produce flames on his back which often caused fire issues in the house*
K- Bad Cyndaquil!! BAD! Not inside the house, get down now.
with a sad face Cyndaquil obeyed and let go his master. The small thing had combusted for only a few seconds and yet it had sent a couple of cinders that Karma had to step on, in order to avoid the spread of any potential fire.
K- What am I going to do with you?
Cyndaquil was the first ever pokemon Karma had ever had. He loved him the very first day of his 5th birthday when he received it from professor Elm, back then the war had been over for a few years already and now peoples were trying to forget and move on to the new generation. A new approach was now being introduced to childrens, the pokemon trainer program.
It was a new approach to try to rebuild the world with pokemons living side by side with humans. The program were to give up 3 specific pokemons being fire grass and water, depending on the region the kids would obtain different starter pokemon and they were to take care of them the rest of their life, that way they would develop a strong bond and try to make up for the mistakes of the past and use them as weapons of mass destruction. However most children were already using them to settle dispute or other petty arguments. So long story short the program was failing phenomenally but on the bright side it brought Cyndaquil to Karma so he wasn't complaining, far from it in fact. That boy loved this fire hedghog more than anything in life right about now.
But of course you know how a 10 year old can be with a new toy, now don't you, dear reader? Give a mouse some cheese and it will want a glass of milk, Karma was just the same. One pokemon wasn't enough, he just had to catch them all!
Getting down the stairs with his pokemon in his arm he rushed outside trying to avoid his mother but it was too late, the she-demon caught him first by the neck of his shirt.
Karma would call her indeed a she-demon but the truth was that karma mother was one of the most gentle souls across the whole Johto region. She was a famous Kimono Girl from Ecruteak. she had taken her retirement and was now focused on raising her child the best way a single mother could. Even if technically she wasn't a single mother, she had been more then capable to take care of her child during his father absence.
Mom- Your Father will be there any minute now, won't you stay just for a while longer, inside the house?
Karma- I don't care about dad! I wanna go see Kurt! He promised me my own personalized pokeball today!
Her mother looked at him with a smile
Mom- Oh, well in that case, I won't stop you from your goal then. Just one thing...
She kissed him
mom- Me and your dad... You know we both love you right?
Karma- You maybe... Dad though...
Mom- Your father has a different way of showing you love (smile) he's just very shy about it that's all.
Karma silently agreed and bypassed her mom
Karma- I personally prefer the traditional approach *kiss her mom on the cheek* bye mom!
Mom- Don't forget to come back home at 3pm!
Kurt was focusing on the fragile mechanism of the pokeball he had been working on since 2 months the old man was sweating and breathing slowly.... when all of a sudden...
Karma: HIYA MISTER KURT DID YOU MADE THE POKEBALL I WANTED??
Kurt: HOLLY ARCEUS!!! DON'T SURPRISE ME LIKE THAT KID!!!
Kurt took a moment to catch his breath before adding
Kurt: I'm about to add the final touches *giggles* Theeeere we go here you are child this is for you.
Kurt handed a strange pokeball that K never saw before. It was grey and white with 2 blue circles on each side of the ball, when Kurt gave it to him K could still feel warmth coming from it.
Kurt: I call it "The heavy Ball" one of my finest creations, if I might say so myself!
Karma: Heavy Ball? What does it do?
Kurt: It's a pokeball that works better to capture a pokemon if he is heavy. So say for exemple a Snorlax or a gyarados would be caught no problem with this!! Bwhahahaha!!
Karma: That's awesome!! Thank you mister Kurt! With that, I'm sure I'll be able to catch a strong pokemon!
Kurt: It's my pleasure, but don't forget pokemons are our friends we don't use them as tools we should always treat these (show the pokeball) as a way to get closer to them. and not as a way to make them our slaves.
Karma: But... By catching them aren't we forcing them to be friends in the first place?
Kurt:... It's a bit more complexe than that.... Anyway K just seek me again if you ever need a personalized pokeball again.
K left Kurt house with Cyndaquil at his side walking at a slow pace looking at his new prize
Karma: *talking to Cyndaquil while walking home*See that Cyndaquil, with this, nothing will stand in our way! I wonder if dad-...
He didn't finished that sentence because something caught his attention... Something was wrong... Something was horribly wrong. His house was open. The door was torn to pieces and appeared to have been thrown a few feet away in the lobby. Heartbeat racing Karma raced inside with Cyndaquil by his side and discovered the horrid mess.
There, in the middle of the living room stood a floating kinetic Alakazam with blue eyes standing next to Karma's father and mother laying there on the cold floor. This Pokemon had recently summoned enormous amount of psychic powers to cause this chaos and it only took a few moment for Karma to understand. That monster had killed his parents!! This Alakazam had killed his parents?!!
Paying closer attention, now Karma could see his parents necks had been snapped.
The murderer suddenly ceased it's psychic powers (his eyes turning no longer blue) and looked dumbfounded at the small boy standing in front of him. Without any second thought whatsoever K ordered Cyndaquil.
Karma: Cyndaquil use Ember!!
The small fire Hedghog sneezed a couple of cinders that seemed to cause no real harm to the murderer while he, in return counter with a strike of his own Cyndaquil stoped in his track and was suddenly levitating in the air with his master both of them envelop in a blueish light before finally being thrown violently outside of the house next to the forest. hitting the ground K saw the Alakazam looking at him a last time before he disappeared in the Ilex Forest. Getting back on his feet Karma called his injured pokemon back inside it's pokeball and ran at the murderous Alakazam deep down in the creepy and dark forest. He knew it was insane but he just didn't know what else to do. That boy wanted justice, he wanted revenge! Eventually though the day became night and K got lost. Tired, hungry and on the border of exhaustion.
For the first time since he saw his parents corpses he found himself alone. Karma couldn't keep it in anymore he fell on his knee and started to mourn his dead parents by crying. He cried and cried wandering why and how. But nothing came up, not even an explanation. He was about to regain his composure when all of a sudden a female voice asked.
???- Human, are you lost?
Karma looked up and saw Virizion a pokemon said to be only in legends.
(Karma kept holding the heavy ball in his back). Virizion looked worried and added.
Virizion- Do you need any help?
K felt suddenly dizzy and fell unconscious.
